James Rebhorn (R.I.P.) as Reese Hughes on White Collar

"It is great - he [Tim Dekay] is a fun person and actor and I feel spoilt because we get to work and play together. Like two kids that they have to come in from the sandbox at the end of the day". - Matt Bomer

Hey :) I was wondering what you thought of the season finale of white collar?

michaelatheuchiha:

Wow, I never got the alert for this, you fail forever, Tumblr.

I honestly don’t know what to think about the season finale of White Collar. I hated hated the ending, ohmygodNeal!, but I feel like the bastard who kidnapped Neal is either connected to Sam or Rebecca/Rachel or completely independent. It’d probably be more interesting if he was completely independent.

I did like how the Rebechel thing ended though. “I hate how good you are” suggests that Neal feels more contempt for Rebechel than any other “villain” he’s faced. And the fact that Rebechel was backed into a corner with no way out was pretty brill too.

I loved that Neal wanted to try to go straight. Like, literally loved it. But then it got RIPPED AWAY FROM US BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE FUCKING ASSHOLES AND ALSDJFASLKDFJA WHY

Also, Elizabeth is apparently moving to D.C. without Peter and this makes me wanna cry because Peter and Elizabeth are, like, the only people I really ship any more on TV and they’re so good and I love their chemistry, and they are one of the only healthy relationships I’ve seen in regards to “cop” shows. o-o; Speaking of Elizabeth, I liked how she totally went mama grizzly on the doctor in regards to Mozzie.

The conversations between Neal, Peter, and Mozzie when they were looking for the stone were good and probably a more accurate representation of the characterisation of this season. Mozzie calls Peter “Peter,” which demonstrates his closeness towards the FBI agents (he took care of Theo for a day), Neal had his distrust of Peter “You’re only using him as a tool,” which shows the strain in their relationship on Neal’s side, and Peter just trying to make everything work to the best of his ability despite feeling the strain. It was just, wow.

(Also, Peter and Neal breaking down the door was pretty hawt.)

It was a good season finale, but an evil one like always. I also think this one will bring the most change. I hate to say this, but it’s going to be hard to do a seventh season. o-o; The characters are evolving too much, and the writers are trying too hard to make them stay in the same place.

Thanks for asking me!

WHITE COLLAR

carriedawaywiththetide:

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. YOU CANNOT FUCKING END WHITE COLLAR LIKE THAT YOU SONS OF BITCHES. YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION ABOUT A SEASON SIX. YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES I CANNOT EVEN HANDLE THIS RIGHT NOW LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK I WILL NOT ALLOW THE SHOW TO END LIKE THIS. MARK MY WORDS IT WILL BE RENEWED FOR A SEASON SIX AND THIS FUCKERY WILL BE FIXED DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!

Her first step on the run. What would it be? On the run, the first thing she’d do is change her appearance - quick hair cut, decent dye job. She’d want to be invisible.

I made a call to Bruce in Washington. I filled him in on your capture of Rebecca Lowe. I told him you deserve your freedom. Peter… He agreed. He’s meeting with the FBI director to put your release in motion. Once he signs off, it should only take a call to the Attorney General to get it done. When? Shouldn’t be more than a couple of days.

That diamond could buy us a nice castle in Croatia. We could live like royalty. Sounds perfect.
